Every school holiday period and on special festivals and occasions I conduct mixed media workshops for children - a truly immersive hands on experience where we explore painting and crafts using different techniques and medium creating a multitude of projects! A ton of smiles and hugs come my way in the process:) The sessions shared here, though not exhaustive, give a glimpse into the scope and breadth of my workshops...

3 day immersive workshop with exposure to mixed media and various painting techniques (2 hours per day)
Day 1 - Autumn sunset on canvas
Children used acrylic paints and cotton buds to create beautiful autumn landscapes
Day 2 - Garden Gnomes with air dry clay
clay moulding is so much fun! Especially when you're making some fantasy land garden gnomes with magical mushrooms:)
Day 3 - mixed media on canvas
Inspired from the movie 'Up', we made these magical flying houses in the sky with balloons moulded from air dry clay

Day 1 - canvas painting
children painted this beautiful tropical landscape on canvas with a Flamingo as the main subject. We explored techniques on creating gradients and giving perspective on distant versus near
Day 2 - mixed media picture frames
Children were provided picture frames where they painted bicycles with flower basket, and hand rolled flowers from air dry clay to give their basket the 3D accent
Day 3 - painting on glass
we explored how to create stencils for glass and paint on glass with acrylics
